The PL2303GL download cable uses the original Wangjiu chip to replace the discontinued PL2303TA chip and supports WIN11 and a full range of operating systems.
This is a newly designed product, which uses the PL2303GL chip produced by Taiwan's prolific company. The PL2303CL provides a convenient solution for connecting a RS232 like full duplex asynchronous serial device to any universal serial bus (USB) host. The PL2303TA is perfectly compatible with the win XP/VISTA/7/8/8.1/10/1 system, and can simulate the existing applications based on COM ports in most operating systems, which can be easily ported and USB connected, without the need to rewrite the COM port software to apply traditional COM ports.
By using the advantages of USB batch transmission mode, large data buffer and automatic flow control, the PL2303GL can achieve higher throughput. Compared with traditional UART, it does not need real RS232 signals (universal asynchronous transceivers), and the transmission rate is higher than 115200 base points, which can be used for even higher performance. The PL2303GL's flexible baud rate generator can be programmed to produce any rate between 75 bps and 6 million bps.
The PL2303GL is designed for mobile and embedded solutions, providing a compact and easy to adapt to any connector and handheld device. With very low power consumption in the operation or suspend mode, the PL2303TA is perfectly powered to operate on the connected device bus.
