5A constant voltage and current module
When using this product, please do not use the input ground and output ground of the module together, which will cause the high-power current sampling resistance of the board to be bypassed, so that the module cannot adjust the output current, and the power supply chip on the module is easy to burn when connected to the load.

  Scope of application

1. It is used as a common step-down module with over-current protection capability
usage method:
(1) Adjust the constant voltage potentiometer to make the output voltage reach the voltage value you want
(2) Use the 10A current gear of the multimeter to measure the output short circuit current (connect two probes directly to the output terminal), and adjust the constant current potentiometer to make the output current reach the predetermined overcurrent protection value. (For example, if the current value displayed by the multimeter is 4A, the maximum current when you use the module can only reach 4A. When the current reaches 4A, the red constant voltage and constant current indicator will be on, otherwise the indicator will be off)
Note: When using in this state, since the output terminal has a current sampling resistance of 0.05 Ω, there will be a voltage drop of 0~0.3V after the load is connected, which is normal! This voltage drop is not pulled down by your load, but is reduced to the sampling resistance.

2. Used as battery charger
The module without constant current function cannot be used to charge the battery. Because the voltage difference between the battery and the charger is large, which leads to excessive charging current and battery damage, the battery should be charged with constant current at the beginning. When the charging reaches a certain level, it will automatically switch back to constant voltage charging.
usage method:

(1) Determine the floating charge voltage and charging current of the battery you need to charge; (If the lithium battery parameter is 3.7V/2200mAh, the floating charge voltage is 4.2V, and the maximum charge current is 1C, that is, 2200mA)
(2) Under no-load condition, the multimeter measures the output voltage, and adjust the constant voltage potentiometer to make the output voltage reach the floating charge voltage; (If the 3.7V lithium battery is charged, adjust the output voltage to 4.2V)
(3) Measure the output short circuit current with the 10A current gear of the multimeter (connect two probes directly to the output terminal), and adjust the constant current potentiometer to make the output current reach the predetermined charging current value;
(4) By default, the charging turn lamp current is 0.1 times of the charging current from the factory; (During the charging process, the current of the battery decreases gradually, and gradually changes from constant current charging to constant voltage charging. If the charging current is set to 1A, then when the charging current is less than 0.1A, the blue light will go off and the green light will go on, and the battery is charged.)
(5) Connect the battery and charge it.
(Steps 1, 2, 3 and 4 are: the input terminal is connected to the power supply, and the output terminal is unloaded without battery)

3. Used as a high-power LED constant current drive module
(1) Determine the working current and maximum working voltage of the LED you need to drive;
(2) Under no-load condition, the multimeter measures the output voltage, and adjust the constant voltage potentiometer to make the output voltage reach the highest working voltage of LED;
(3) Measure the output short circuit current with the 10A current gear of the multimeter, and adjust the constant current potentiometer to make the output current reach the predetermined LED working current;
(4) Connect the LED and test the machine.
(Steps 1, 2 and 3 are: the input is connected to the power supply, and the output is not connected to the LED light when the load is unloaded.)
Note: Please strengthen the heat dissipation when the module is used more than 3A and 35W!!!
