This is the new Mega ADK R3.  ADK is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega2560.

It has a USB host interface to connect for Arduino based board, based on the MAX3421e IC.
It has 54 digital input/output pins (of which 14 can be used as PWM outputs), 16 analog inputs, 4 UARTs (hardware serial ports), a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button. Similar to the Mega 2560 and UNO R3, it features an ATmega16U2 instead of ATmega8U2 programmed as a USB-to-serial converter.

The 3.1 platform (also backported to 2.3.4) for Arduino Open Accessory support, which allows external USB hardware (for Arduino USB accessory) to interact for Arduino-powered device in a special accessory mode.
When power device is in accessory mode the connected accessory acts as the USB host (powers the bus and enumerates devices) and for Arduino-powered device acts as the USB device
